Taiwan’s National Day on October 10 is fast approaching. Radio Taiwan International, Taiwan’s multi-lingual news and entertainment radio service, will once again broadcast coverage of the ceremony from the Presidential Office Building through multiple channels and multiple languages, including dedicated websites, YouTube channels, and Facebook fan pages. Furthermore, Rti has also partnered with Chinese language radio stations in the United States and Canada to participate in rebroadcasting or joint broadcasting of the president’s speech. This includes stations in Houston, Vancouver, Montreal, New York, and San Francisco.
The theme of this year’s ceremony is “Celebrating Taiwan’s Democracy and Enduring Resilience”. Rti is sending reporters to the Presidential Office Building to offer live coverage, while Rti’s numerous foreign language services will also be offering simultaneous translation as well as general coverage from Rti’s studios. Interested viewers can visit Rti’s dedicated 2023 Taiwan National Day Celebration website to see coverage in all available languages.
